About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Process Analyst for Continuous Improvement to join our team at McCain Foods. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency and reducing complexity in our Finance operations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Continuous Improvement Team to identify and execute opportunities for process improvements in Finance operations.
  • Design and implement management cost accounting solutions and processes to drive efficiency and standardization globally.
  • Support the organization's management cost accounting systems and processes to ensure they meet current business requirements.
  • Provide transactional level insight and champion change within the management cost accounting space.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure the design meets current business requirements.
  • Create tests scripts and work with users to ensure proper system testing.
  • Promote continuous improvement of culture and aid in the development of a continuous improvement framework.
  • Support the development and maintenance of FSS continuous improvement processes.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated successful work experience in providing design advice and expertise in Management cost accounting systems and tools to support business processes.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent field.
  • Master's Degree in Business (nice to have, but not a requirement).
  • Consumer goods industry and/or manufacturing experience will be an asset.
  • Ability to collaborate and work on the design and implementation of solutions in SAP PAPM / SAC.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, the best practices and interdependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills are able to effectively and persuasively articulate positions both verbally and in electronic mediums to various audiences including senior executives.
  • Sound fact-based decision making; responsive and problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering results.
  • Courage to have difficult discussions with groups from all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in change and stakeholder management.
  • Supports program direction by completing assigned work and responding to program needs.
  • Resilient after business setbacks, and demonstrates persistence in tough circumstances.
