About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Keyholder to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Keyholder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, recommending products and services to create a healthy and playful life for pets
  • Assist with all store operations, including cash handling, merchandise ordering, and banking
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, dusting, and other general maintenance functions
  • Unload delivery vehicles and stock merchandise, including pet food and supplies
  • Effectively open and close the store, following company procedures
  • Assign daily goals and tasks to ACEs in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Working knowledge of POS systems
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
  • Valid driver's license may be required
