We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst II, Operations and Planning, to join our growing team at Intact Financial Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain requirements from business units through interviews and work sessions.
- Analyze information from various sources, detail high-level information, and provide users with recommendations to their problems.
- Document requirements obtained from the business community using defined templates.
- Act as an intermediary between IT, users, and managers from different hierarchical levels.
- Ensure the link between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
- Facilitate working sessions with experts from different fields.
- Responsible for improving productivity and reducing risks and high costs through effective analysis.
- Identify the need for change to assess and communicate its impact.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Highly developed analytical skills facilitating problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively.
- Have initiative and be autonomous.
- Skills for time and priority management.
- Ability to manage multiple files at the same time.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Knowledge of the Agile Methodology (asset).
- Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset).
- No Canadian work experience required, however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
