Exciting Opportunity for a 310T Diesel Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 310T Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team at Premier Truck Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required or recommended repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required or recommended repairs
  • Accurately diagnoses malfunctions and performs the necessary repairs
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability and ensures quality repairs the first time
  • Ensures customer vehicles are kept clean during the repair process
  • Contains costs by using warranty and evaluating service and parts options for repairs
  • Communicates with service advisor and/or dispatcher if additional work is needed
  • Aids service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, and interact with customers
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt of parts and supplies
  • Maintains a clean, efficient work area and assists in keeping the shop neat and organized
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order in accordance with standard operating procedures

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must possess Provincial License such as Red Seal/310T
  • Current and in good standing with membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
