Drywall Installation Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at HR DRYWALL & TAPING LTD. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and finishing surfaces to create smooth, even walls and ceilings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth surface
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
