Pizza Maker Job Description

At Joe's Pizza Stone - Chetwynd, we are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker to join our team. As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items to order
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
