Management Development Program

EMCO Corporation is a leading national wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products to the construction industry. We are currently hiring full-time Management Development Program Trainees to join our team.

Program Overview

The Management Development Program is a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a management role. The program consists of four phases, each focusing on a different aspect of the business:

Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service

In this phase, you will gain hands-on experience with the logistical side of the business, including shipping and receiving, counter sales, and order management. You will also develop your customer service skills and learn how to provide world-class service to our customers.

Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement

In this phase, you will build relationships with customers and vendors, and learn how to read blueprint drawings to create quotes for materials. You will also develop your problem-solving skills and learn how to manage large-scale projects.

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales

In this phase, you will learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, and negotiate contracts. You will also develop your leadership skills and learn how to create level 5 customer partnerships.

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations

In this final phase, you will develop your leadership competencies, support the team through coaching and mentoring, and set vision and strategy for the business.

Qualifications
  • University degree or college diploma in any discipline
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong interest in sales
  • Valid driver's license
