The position of Clinical Medicine Specialist at SickKids offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing exceptional clinical skills to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders and illnesses, exploring preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation, sharing findings with the medical community
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases, analyzing structural and functional changes

As a specialist in clinical medicine, you will have the opportunity to act as consultants to other physicians, providing expert advice and guidance. Additionally, you will order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Certifications and Licenses
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination

To succeed in this role, you must possess a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, or equivalent experience. Five years or more of relevant experience are also required.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Relocation costs are covered by the employer, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to relocate to Toronto.
