Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care according to physician orders and hospital policies
- Provide direct patient care by collecting information from various sources using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment
- Coordinate and prioritize nursing care for assigned patients
- Document patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, observations, interventions, and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of Cardiology component of Post Basic Critical Care course or post basic High Acuity Course, plus one year's recent experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry unit
- Clinical proficiency in designated clinical area(s)
