Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing meat products
- Prepare and display meat products in an attractive and appealing manner
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the meat counter and surrounding areas
- Restock and rotate meat products as needed
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of meat products
- Participate in visual merchandising and display of meat products
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
