Job Title: Truck Driver - Over the Road

MILER XPRESS INC is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
