Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Spring Valley Care Centre. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of our residents. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to best practices
• Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support
• Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment

Requirements:
• Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M)
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Compensation:
$41.42 per hour
