Job Title: Senior Cyber Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Software Developer to join our Algorithms, Performance, and Tools (APT) team at D-Wave Quantum Inc. This role will involve developing software tools to facilitate running and solving complex problems on our quantum computers and quantum-classical hybrid solvers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Ocean software development kit (SDK) and QPU development tools.
  • Collaborate with internal research teams, customers, and the quantum computing developer community to support the development of quantum applications.
  • Design and implement software solutions to improve the performance and efficiency of our quantum computing systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on quantum computing and software development.
  • Excellent Python skills and an understanding of programming languages.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing and/or quantum software development.
  • Experience working on end-to-end software projects, from architecture to implementation and documentation.
