As a key member of the Toronto Parking Authority team, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's labour relations strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, you will partner with business leaders to provide expert advice and guidance on employee and labour relations matters. Your responsibilities will include advising on collective agreements, employment laws and regulations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Main Responsibilities
- You will participate in the collective bargaining process, analyze trends, formulate proposals, and evaluate strategies throughout bargaining.
- Working with the VP HR and TPA leadership, you will develop the TPA's collective bargaining direction.
- You will partner with management and HR to provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of issues related to collective agreements, practices, jurisprudence, and other employment-related legislation and/or TPA policy.
- You will advise on complaints and grievances, arbitrations, mediations, corrective actions, performance issues, and human rights issues.
