We are seeking an experienced Structural Analysis and Design Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, ON.
This role will involve performing structural analysis, seismic qualification, and assessment of steel and concrete structures. You will prepare engineering design calculations and compile engineering packages for structural systems, adhering to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
You will have a thorough understanding of structural engineering principles and experience with software such as ANSYS, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro. Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with our team and interface with clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university, 8-12 years of experience in structural analysis and design, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mathcad. A Master's degree or above is an asset, as well as experience working in a nuclear environment.
As a Structural Analysis and Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering deliverables, adhering to quality assurance procedures, and collaborating with the team to achieve project objectives within specified timelines and budgets.
