Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist who can provide high-quality patient care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services to meet individual patient needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.
- Serving as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients.
- Providing a consistent patient experience during each hygiene visit and establishing strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical and professional behavior.
- Retaining patient loyalty by delivering tailored experiences based on patients' expectations and demonstrating active listening and empathy using effective communication skills.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A completed Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
- Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (C.D.H.O).
- A valid CPR Certification.
- An experience with dental software, considered an asset.
