Food Service Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service area.
Job SummaryThis role is ideal for someone with leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee a team of 3-4 people, ensuring that we maintain high-quality food and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling and Planning: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
- Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player mindset.
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
