Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Director to lead a small, high-impact team within Product Finance. As a key member of the Tangerine Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving business line financials, forecasting, and pricing decisions. Your expertise will be essential in supporting over $1 billion in revenue and managing a $50 billion product portfolio.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a small, high-impact team focused on treasury-related matters, including distribution of product funds transfer pricing (FTP) rates from treasury to business lines.
  • Owning all aspects of treasury, including knowledge of key factors impacting FTP rates and providing recommendations for pricing decisions.
  • Supporting deep dives or additional requests into treasury-related items and acting as an advocate for Tangerine to ensure accurate value is being ascribed to all assets & deposits.
  • Collaborating with Scotiabank Treasury to ensure seamless communication and coordination of business updates.
  • Presenting relevant financial updates to the Tangerine Board of Directors as required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience at a financial institution in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and/or technology roadmaps.
  • Strong experience interacting with senior executives on a regular basis.

This is a domestic-focused opportunity within the Canadian Banking segment. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Tangerine Executive Leadership Team, key stakeholders across business lines, and Canadian Banking Finance.
