We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Operations Coordinator to join our Eastern Canada District team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of work experience in a related field and a Master's, Bachelor's or technical degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.

The role will involve working closely with the superintendent, interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and craft, preparing work plans and work packages, ordering and scheduling material deliveries, and ensuring the quality of field operations.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative. They will possess strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time, and a demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Operations: Work closely with superintendent, interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft, prepare work plans and work packages, order and schedule material deliveries, ensure the quality of field operations.
  • Office Coordinator: Perform takeoffs from drawings, generate changes, build schedules, track costs, provide field support, supervise subcontractor operations.
  • Estimating: Perform takeoffs, review and analyze data relative to the project, complete plans and specification reviews for projects, assist with the preparation of a bid.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed
  • Master's, Bachelor's or technical degree in civil engineering, construction management or related degree
  • Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide-ranging climates and environments
