Job Title: Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver

Location: North Bay, ON P1A0A2, CAN

Job Summary:

Battlefield Equipment Rentals, a division of Toromont Industries Ltd., is seeking a DZ Driver to join our team at our North Bay location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering heavy equipment to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure all loads are loaded, unloaded, and secured properly.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding any updates or changes in scheduling.
  • Update log books as needed and report any damages to the manager.
  • Prepare for following day deliveries, including fueling the truck, washing if needed, and loading equipment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Professional customer service skills and good communication.
  • Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience and familiarity in all aspects of safe driving practices, including tying and securing all types of loads.
  • Appropriate class licensing for a DZ driving position, with a clean driver's abstract.
