Job Title: Protection Specialist - Retail Environment

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Protection Specialist to join our team at RMG Risk Management Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff in retail settings.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong observational skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of all individuals within the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Enforce regulations and maintain order to resolve conflicts and monitor establishment activities
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect shoplifting and theft
- Produce reports as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a security-related field an asset
- Possession of a valid CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and WHMIS Certificate
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
