Bakery Specialist

Lola's Bakery seeks a highly skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team in pie and pastry production. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, requisitioning materials, and supervising baking personnel.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in this field, with a strong background in baking and pastry arts. You will be working in a rural area environment, operating machinery, and maintaining inventory.

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
• Bake mixed dough and batters to ensure high-quality products
• Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet established standards

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid understanding of baking principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational skills. You should also be able to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

• Estimated salary: $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience
