At ROCKWAY ENTERPRISE INC o/a Life Italian Restaurant, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our dining room team. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules that meet the needs of the restaurant and its staff.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Stand for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, with a combination of sitting and walking.
  • Work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
