About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at Gold Oak Customs Furniture Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality products.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet customer specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Supervise and mentor other workers to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and maintain a safe working distance from power tools.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
