Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our hospital/medical facility or clinic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
