Job Title: Automotive Mechanical Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanical Repairer to join our team at City Tire & Auto Centre Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems. They will also be required to possess a strong understanding of automotive service technology and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lifts, hoists, and diagnostic software.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification.
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
