About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at SEA TO SKY PRECISION CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building structures in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a strong and stable framework.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying attention to detail and quality.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
