We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized College of Pharmacy and current registration with the College of Pharmacists of BC. A minimum of five years hospital pharmacy experience and two years' related management experience are also required.

This role offers a competitive salary of $135,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. About this role:

  • You will be responsible for administrative and professional leadership within the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all institutional and College of Pharmacists of BC regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • As a Clinical Pharmacy Director, you will provide clinical guidance to pharmacy staff, advancing pharmaceutical care within the hospital.
  • You will work collaboratively with local and regional pharmacy leaders, physicians, and nursing leaders to achieve overall goals and objectives.

Shuswap Lake General Hospital is a 42-bed hospital in the Thompson-Cariboo-Shuswap health service area. Located in Salmon Arm, B.C, the hospital offers services including surgical, inpatient, obstetrics, and 24-hour emergency.
