Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Akhlut Automotive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Own vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
