Information Security Consultant

Job Summary:

This role will work with clients to assess their information security posture against industry standards and frameworks. The successful candidate will ensure clients meet compliance requirements and provide guidance on improving their security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and delivering information security audit assignments
  • Defining the scope for information security audit assignments
  • Developing and quality-assuring security audit reports
  • Collaborating with clients to develop remediation plans
  • Providing exceptional service to clients in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university
  • ISACA CISA certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a leader in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor, PCI QSA, ISACA CISM, SANS certifications
  • Deep understanding of key information security program development, tool implementation, and information security concepts and frameworks
  • In-depth experience designing and implementing information security solutions

Travel Expectations:

Must be able to travel

Location: Moncton NB or Halifax NS
