Planning and Design Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning and Design Technologist to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our planning and operations department, you will play a critical role in designing and coordinating distribution-related projects that drive business growth and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and coordinate distribution-related projects, including customer-driven work and system-driven upgrades.
- Utilize technical expertise to support business growth and reliability.
- Work with installation crews to observe fieldwork and visit worksites to meet with customers.
- A post-secondary Engineering Technology Diploma in an appropriate discipline.
- Certification at the technologist level by the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC).
- Four years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
