The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Support Specialist - Lab Services to support our laboratory operations. In this role, you will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support laboratory operations by collecting and processing patient specimens, entering requisitions and results accurately, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues and resolve patient concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Laboratory Assistant training or a related field.
- Proven experience in laboratory operations, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
