Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facility services team at Emergent BioSolutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 Education/ GED required
  • 3 years related experience in general maintenance required
  • Trades certification / 5th class power engineering certificate are assets
  • General handyman skills: painting, drywall, construction
  • Prior cGMP experience is strongly preferred
