Job Title: Creative Visual Communications Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Visual Communications Specialist to join our team at XTREME MEDIA INC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for supervising other graphic designers, estimating time to complete graphic designs, and consulting with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
  • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Co-ordinate sub-contracting
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
  • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
  • Process files and paperwork

Work Environment: Our work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. You will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and will be required to work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
