We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Express Healthcare Staffing in Red Deer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in long term care and provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This LPN position involves working with patients in a long term care setting, providing nursing care and support to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

  • $52 per work day diem

In addition to the above benefits, we also offer a $100 Fast Start Bonus for those who are credentialed and pick up 3 shifts within 7 calendar days of starting credentialing process, as well as a $250 referral bonus available (subject to conditions).

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years recent paid work experience
  • Provincial license as a Practical Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse or ability to attain provincial license for Newfoundland
  • Demonstrates ability to understand, speak, read and write effectively in English
  • Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Minimum 6 week contracts
  • Able to be flexible for scheduling
