Job Summary

M&L Painting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding.
  • Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
