About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Tire Retreader to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a Tire Retreader, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to retread tires, ensuring high-quality products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and equipment to mix, calender, extrude, mould, and cure rubber materials or rubber products.
  • Check and monitor product quality to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly, and operate finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind, or buff rubber products into their final form.
  • Affix seals or tags to approved products, and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Adjust machinery and equipment to proper settings, and mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycling.
  • Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil, and chemicals into machines.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, and hot environment.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Dependability, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time opportunity with 37.5 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
