The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Senior Quality Engineer in Procurement IT, you will play a critical role in supporting a suite of Procurement applications that are essential to our business operations and regulatory compliance. Your main responsibilities will include understanding and testing both the front-end and back-end of these applications across various projects.

You will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test plans that align with project requirements. This will involve executing automated and manual test scripts to ensure software quality.

We utilize Q-Test for test case management and Selenium for automated testing. You will also employ the Robot Framework to design and manage automated testing procedures.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and user stories for accurate testing. Participating in agile SCRUM ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, is also an essential part of this job.

You will maintain testing documentation in Confluence and manage issues and progress through Jira. Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects is crucial to ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to QA best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and application testing.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Q-Test, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Solid understanding of agile SCRUM methodologies and practices.
  • Experience using Confluence for documentation and Jira for issue tracking and project management.
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Python and Java.
  • Good working knowledge of ETL testing and ETL Process.
