Logistics Courier

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Courier to join our team at Diabetes Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver items and products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch and maintain accurate records of items received and delivered.
• Load and unload goods, follow directions, and use maps and other trip planning aids.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

Requirements

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
• A valid driver's abstract and a clean driving record.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, organized, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
