The Provincial Palliative Care Program, part of Ontario Health, supports the operational and tactical activities of the OPCN (Ontario Palliative Care Network). The Program Analyst will specialize in budget monitoring and analysis as guided by the Program Manager, supporting aspects of contract management, coordination of Program initiatives to advance provincial palliative care priorities.
Payscale: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This role involves:
- Supporting budget monitoring, tracking, and analysis for the Provincial Palliative Care Program.
- Collaborating with the Provincial Performance and Accountability team on contract development and management.
- Contributing to performance management of provincially funded palliative care initiatives by supporting financial/contractual agreements across the province.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to palliative care deliverables.
- Providing support for various projects within timelines, including stakeholder engagement.
- Assisting in the development of analytical reports, executive summaries, and presentations.
We require a degree in Business Administration, Health Policy, Health Science, Health Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline, along with a minimum 1-2 years' work experience in administering, monitoring, and evaluating budgets. Experience in contract and stakeholder management is an asset. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary, particularly Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
