About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about child development and wants to make a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will interact directly with the children, providing quality care and creative programming that promotes their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with families through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
  • You will assist in planning and implementing a consistent and child-centered program that meets the needs of all children.
  • You will work collaboratively with the staff team to deliver a high-quality program that aligns with Ontario's pedagogy.
  • You will maintain confidentiality and adhere to all Child Care Licensing Regulations.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Registered by the College of Early Childhood Education.
  • Current Standard First Aid certification including Infant and Child CPR.
  • Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014.
  • Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Second language and intercultural understanding.
  • Working in inclusive environments.
Working Conditions
  • Shifts are Monday through Friday (no weekends).
  • Travel may be required between locations.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
What We Offer

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
