**Job Summary**

McNally Contractors is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for the placement, smoothing, and final finish of poured concrete.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure accurate placement of concrete.
  • Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
  • Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.
  • Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore concrete surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, curb, and gutter, walls, roads, and other concrete structures.
  • Execute traffic control plans by placing, removing, covering, and uncovering traffic control signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices. Direct traffic when necessary.

**Work Environment/Conditions:**

  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Out-of-town work as required.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Heavy Civil Construction or labor experience is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Operator's License; with clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing.
  • Pre-employment Fit for Work Testing.
