Job Summary:
Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen in Nepean, ON is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Representative to join our safety-conscious team.

About the Role:
As an Environmental Sustainability Representative, you will drive our mission of sustainability by providing excellent service to customers while promoting and delivering Safety-Kleen products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a DZ-licensed vehicle to deliver and pick up hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including used oil, antifreeze, and related products.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a DZ-licensed vehicle to deliver and pick up hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service, ensuring their needs are met and promoting additional products and services.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Safety-Kleen products and services, contributing to revenue growth.
  • Manage daily routes and ensure compliance with schedules while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accuracy in product deliveries, waste pickups, and related documentation.
  • Adhere to all company, provincial, and federal safety regulations and guidelines, including transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and workplace environment.
  • Participate in required training and maintain all certifications necessary for the role.

Requirements:
- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 1-2 years of DZ truck driving experience.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Knowledge of environmental services, hazardous waste management, or related industries is an asset.
