Job Summary:

The Hairstylist is responsible for providing professional hair services to residents within a predominantly elderly community with diverse ethnic and cultural experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality hair cutting, trimming, and setting services for male and female residents.
  • Provide permanent and hair dyeing services.
  • Offer blowout services with various styles and curls.
  • Perform female and male hair cuts using scissors and machines.

Requirements:

  • Business license to operate.
  • Barbicide course completion.
  • Hair Stylist Course completion.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Gentle, positive, calm attitude, and sensitivity to the needs and feelings of the elderly.

Reporting:

Reporting to the General Manager and/or designate.
