Job Summary:
The Production Manager will be responsible for leading the senior production staff and overseeing the day-to-day functions of manufacturing. This includes developing and implementing manufacturing schedules, monitoring batch progress, and ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to senior production staff
- Develop and implement manufacturing schedules
- Monitor batch progress and ensure timely completion
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements
- Coordinate and provide training to production staff
- Facilitate and maintain an emphasis on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- Attend batch meetings and provide input on new processes
- Revise and manage production-related Standard Operating Procedures
- Participate in HAZOP analysis and equipment selection
- Provide technical assistance and support to production staff
- Develop and manage the manufacturing budget
- Participate in post-project reviews and champion lean initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing and production management
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulations
- Ability to develop and implement manufacturing schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
