Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for the position of Environmental Services II (Cleaner/Housekeeper trained to work in healthcare). As an Environmental Services II, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance, thorough washing of ceilings and windows, and emptying hazardous waste.
  • Provide training and orientation to Environmental staff.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of reliability and dependability.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and operation of a computer, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 30 lbs of force.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
