Job Title: Automotive Hardware Specialist

At North Truck and Trailer Repair Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Hardware Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced mechanics in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist mechanics in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking to complete tasks efficiently
  • Bend, crouch, and kneel to access equipment and machinery

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; we will provide training
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety
  • Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30-35 hours per week
