Job Title: Senior Technical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Rodan Energy Solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying design change packages, technical documentation, and engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control systems, with experience in design and construction projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including technical specifications and design requirements.
  • Reviewing and accepting updates to instrument uncertainty calculations.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of electrical and I&C components, equipment, and materials.
  • Providing advice and direction to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Maintaining written documented processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.

They will also have strong knowledge of instrumentation and control principles, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and PLC/DCS systems.

Experience with ETAP and relay protection coordination will be an asset.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication and leadership skills.

They will also have a strong interest in fast-paced, challenging work environments and a proven track record of delivering results.
