About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at HARJOT SINGH BALAGAN. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to support clients' dietary needs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train for the role
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
