Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff as needed, and manage kitchen operations to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
